Croatians underplay and undercharge. Croatia needs to learn to sell itself better.
Yes, yes and yes. Any news regarding?
None. But people are getting to it, slowly, and even Rome was built much faster.
Eventually, Croatia will learn to appreciate its smart heads.
It’s interesting listening to foreigners who came to our country and tell us what and how to do it. But, unfortunately, someone has to let us know what do we do wrong, or nor good enough. For instance, many people from Croatia who left the country years ago succeeded abroad, not easily, but they did. And there are plenty of stories about how good workers Croatians are smart, laborious, entrepreneurial, and agile. But do we know that? Do we treat ourself alike? Or we underplay and undercharge?
It was very interesting 3rd Business Café International event on Monday, August 26th in Zagreb at the Rooftop Lateral, Strojarska 20/26.
The Ambassador W. Robert Kohorst opened the event sharing his rich entrepreneurial experience before he became a diplomat.
He emphasized Croatia needs more access to CAPITAL and needs to learn how to sell itself better. Croatians need to take more risk and use failure to learn.
For Croatian government, he said it just needs to implement all plans better and faster.
He said most common mistakes entrepreneurs make is a failure to delegate. The more and faster we learn to delegate the more and quicker our business can grow.
Kristina continued talking to Jonathan Cooper, who confirmed the words of his Excellency, Mr. Robert Kohorst, sharing with us his failures. Jonathan ho has been living primarily in Croatia since on1997. He is an experienced M&A advisor and investor, who co-founded KlasikTV and Bright Entertainment, the latter which is franchising the Museum of Illusions concept globally. Jonathan also said Croatians need to take risks more and dare more.
Ben Croft is a multi-award winning entrepreneur who specializes in the Business and Executive Coaching industry, currently owner of 9 different companies. He is also Founder of his non-profit EthicalCoach. In 2019 Ben was named in Europe’s 40 under 40.
Ben is now looking at investing into the Croatian market, creating an incubator and agency that will train and support talented Croatians and offer high quality, well paid international projects that will enable them to stay and work in Croatia.
Ben said Croatians are now aware of their incredible talents. We underplay and undercharge.
He reminded the whole audience of the primary business principle – to find your purpose and passion that is to find out what is the most significant value we can add to humanity.
One of the conclusions of the event was we should continue to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and self-esteem.
After the event, all entrepreneurs stayed the whole evening networking and making deals.
Looking forward to seeing you next time. You need to hear what guests, mainly foreigners, have to say, as they came, they stayed and they love it.
