Our partner in TTT, or travel, trips, transfers – Croatian Attraction suggested a Cooking Class at the farm in Konavle, near Dubrovnik.
Can you bake bread?

Do you know how to cook, and have you ever picked vegetables in the garden?
And then an even more unique experience – just for you….
Dubrovnik’s history always depended on the farms, wineries, and the city’s sea. Almost all food was coming from the famous Konavle Valley near Dubrovnik.

Konavle Valley
Let’s enjoy the fantastic Dubrovnik surroundings and panorama drive to the local farm in Konavle.
Konavle is a rich agricultural valley only 2o km from Dubrovnik, and all we need for a proper traditional dish grow right there.
Depending on the season, desires, and interests, let’s make a cooking plan. Once the procedure is defined, you’ll go to the kitchen and learn the steps required to cook the meal.

Let’s go cooking from the scratch
The first step is making homemade bread, and each participant will knead their bread.
Nice and easy. 🙂
While the bread rises, you go to the garden, pick the necessary ingredients, and gather fresh eggs.
We will learn how to make tasty traditional meals and cakes with those ingredients upon returning to the kitchen.
It will be the traditional menu Lovorno skewer (meat on bay leaf sticks).

Milking the goat?
Now we talking – you can go and experience milking the neighbor’s goat.
While the food is cooking, you’re more than welcome to taste some local wine. The hosts will proudly present 500-year family tree stories.
After some talking, cooking, milking, wine-tasting – it’s time to enjoy the local dish you prepared.
