Reduce red tape and improve legal conditions – this is what attracts serious investments – the main topic of the 4th Business Café International event, held on Monday, October 14th, in Zagreb at the Rooftop Lateral.

People who move love Croatia, most of them don’t move because of economic conditions they move because of a bad system and they go abroad because there they can succeed on their merit, without needing to know local politicians and have cousins.

Croatia should change the branding and start telling another story – why would someone come here and invest?

Israeli Ambassador Ilan Mor said: “Croatia should change branding, tell another story, reveal the secret. Stop being just a beautiful country to visit for a holiday. Reduce red tape and improve business conditions. Think about why would someone come here and invest.” He explained the secret of Israeli Start-Up nation and their worldwide known entrepreneurial mindset while talking about necessity, isolation, and obligatory army, etc.

One of the conclusions of the event was Croatia offers a good quality of life but rather low for doing business. People who move love Croatia, most of them don’t move because of economic conditions they move because of a bad system and they go abroad because there they can succeed on their merit, without needing to know local politicians and have cousins.  We all need leaders with vision.
