September 7th is going to be a big day for basketball, Croatia and, of course, Dino Rađa, a famous and well-reputed basketball player of the 90s who has won two Olympic medals and had a very successful career in the NBA.
The abovementioned date is the day he will be introduced to the basketball Hall of Fame!
Rađa, who spent his NBA years playing for Boston Celtics, will be introduced to the Hall of Fame in Springfield by legendary Lary Bird.
Dino Rađa will from that point share the honor of being immortal in Hall of Fame together with heroes of basketball such as Ray Allen, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd and Grant Hill.
And Rađa won’t be the only Croatian in this elite – three basketball virtuosos already have found their place there: Krešimir Ćosić (since 1996), Dražen Petrović (since 2002) and coach Mirko Novosel (since 2007.)
We have a sense this is just the beginning of awesome Croatian basketball players making it big in the most important place of basketball history!
