In the spirit of the upcoming Ferragosto holidays which mean a time to relax for Italians, it’s no secret that Croatia has been one of the top holiday destinations for our dear Italian neighbors. This year, Italian media Croatia is once again presented as an authentic country which preserved a Mediterranean mentality and the traditional way of living as well as high-quality gastronomy and attractive festivals.

And it’s exactly the festivals and many new events directed towards younger generations which made so many young Italian tourists come and visit the other side of the Adriatic.
Croatian Board of Tourism stressed out that better traffic connection is one of the crucial reasons that more Italians choose Croatia as their first choice for summer vacation.

And the Italian media is just crazy for Croatia and its attractions! Marco Polo magazine dedicated its cover to Primošten and Camper magazine dedicated its cover to Dubrovnik.
“La Stampa” points out that Croatia is not only sun and sea and that apart from its rich natural and cultural heritage, it offers popular music festivals, and the favorite Italian “Vogue” also wrote about Croatia and Vis. “Cosmopolitan” has explored Croatian beaches, and counted down ten places in Croatia where you can find paradise.
Also, the Italian state television station RAI 2 visited Croatia with the aim of exploring the national parks Plitvice Lakes and the Kornati.



The “Natural Beauty of Croatia” program will be broadcasted in the autumn program scheme with the aim of attracting Italian guests outside the tourist season.

Italians are well-known for having excellent taste in everything, especially in beautiful and tasty things so this is more than just a proof that Croatia is an IT destination on the map!
