Knin held the central celebration of the anniversary of the operation Storm (one of the most important military operations during the Homeland war), which was attended by the entire Croatian government, state and military officials, members of the families of the dead and missing Croatian war veterans in Storm, and the 100 percent invalids of the Homeland War. For the first time, over the sky above Knin, the F16 fighter planes flew for the first time since they came to Croatia.
Wreaths and lighted candles were laid on the monument of Storm 95 and the names of those killed and missing in that military ordinal operation were read.
At the celebration, according to police estimates, about 7,000 people gathered.
At the end of the ceremonial program, a military parade went from Knin Fortress to the church where a mass was served by the bishop of Šibenik.
