Linden Tree Retreat & Ranch, not atomic physics. Just physics :-)

When someone is making a fuss of an easy achievement – we usually say, it’s not atomic physics. In this case, it’s the doctor of biophysics Bruce Yerkovich and his ranch Linden Tree which is beyond physics.

croatia2go: Hi Bruce, you made real many kids dream. You come back from the USA, being an academic to become ranch and retreat owner in Lika, and can say; the grass is not greener elsewhere! What was the trigger for this complete change of your lifestyle?

Bruce Yerkovich: I’m still what I was and then some more. I am just continuing the evolution of my life, life long journey. You know, it’s like driving from one part of the city to another, you become richer for that experience at the end. You don’t have to leave something to start something or some know. I had a certain lifestyle, and that stopped at some point, helping me grow. So, there was a need to find where the grass is greener. 🙂
It didn’t happen overnight. I take a while, a couple of years of traveling, meditating, journaling until an image appear what I want to do and how wanna live.
Then the vision was starting to form. I didn’t have the material place at that time, and long story short, it happens here.  Why? I believe it was meant to be here. I don’t know. It felt like home. It still does. And I started to build this life, my little universe; as a result, everything I was before. And then what happens here and continues to happen, this journey is making more of me, it’s helping me grow, helping me evolve.

croatia2go: Interesting way of thinking.

Bruce Yerkovich: There is an English word – development. Development is an exciting word, if you look as linguist do, is the comprise of two words, DE is the Latin for UNDO something, and ENVELOP something (wrap something in something) So, DEnVELOPMENT is actually unpacking something. We often think of developing we are getting bigger, smarter, brighter, but not necessarily. For me, development is only going back to myself. That’s happening here, and if for some reason one day it stops happen here I’m just as willing to get up and leave as I did 11 years ago from the US.

croatia2go: How long it took from the first thought to the first brick?

Bruce Yerkovich: Since I decided to change the life till I finally came here took precisely three years. The first impulse that started the entire process was sometimes before 5 to 8 years.

croatia2go: Bruce, what is Linden Tree?

Bruce Yerkovich: Linden Tree is a representation of the place where we can be ourselves. It’s s just a manifestation of that representation. The reason why is called Linden tree is quantum physically speaking the tree when planted it grows, becomes big, and represents a natural oscillator. The oscillator is an instrument that allows bodies and a physical entity and its energetic shield to start resonating, to make a vibration that can be adjusted. In the case of a Linden Tree the vibration is fixed and it the same as that of the planet Earth. When I was designing this place, I build a natural oscillator, the place where people can find the way back to themselves.

croatia2go: We have mentioned physics, atomic, then biophysics, now we said vibrations, and we are in Lika, just a few kilometers away of the birthplace of the master of physics Nikola Tesla, is all this connected. Is Lika the point of origin?

Bruce Yerkovich: I wasn’t looking for the place to be near Nikola Tesla, it just happened. It can’t be denied that the mountain he was born near to and as Linden Tree is now on the slopes of the same mountain is a mighty mountain. Velebit means mighty mountain!! Do I feel the intense energy here? Do I feel more courageous to manifest my true nature, bolder to dream? I do.
I was not so bold and brave when I was a corporate rat. No, I feel like I am sitting on the shoulders of a giant, and that giant is giving me the energy and wisdom and permission to express myself the best I can.

croatia2go: Guests here on Linden Tree are strangers, as you mentioned they come from the US, Canada… more strangers then Croats. But in States, there are a lot of ranches. Why are they coming here to stay on the ranch?

Bruce Yerkovich: They are attracted by this calm and tranquil energy of Linden Tree. They first read about it, then emailing and talking to us and feel more of it.
An example; two women, about a month ago, who live on the East coast of the US, came to spend 72 hours to spend with us. You should ask them this question. I’m still surprised by their interest, and I always ask them; are you going to see Zagreb, Zadar, or some other places? No, they say.
Why? We have been traveling around the world and seen many raches, but no one spoke to us in the manner that you do. You see us, even if we never see each other.
I think that this place, Linden tree speaks to everybody in their language.

croatia2go: And here we are again, on energy level…Frequencies must be adjusted. So, what someone can do at the Linden Tree ranch?

Bruce Yerkovich: You can rest in every possible way, either walking, either riding, swimming in the pool, practicing yoga, meditating, or just sleeping. Here we have 11 accommodation units, and we can accommodate 28 people at the same time.

croatia2go: How do you find workers?
Bruce Yerkovich: We have an online application and people usually looking for us, for something like Linden Tree.

croatia2go: I recently read about the new investments in the USA; it’s an investment in something like Linden Tree, or into the forest. Is this a new trend? Or new age investments?

Bruce Yerkovich: Well, I think that people like to see ‘growing’ their investment. I’m on that mission for some time, and I’m glad that I’m, not the only one.

croatia2go: No, not the only one 🙂 You have your wife with you, Megy.

Bruce Yerkovich: Yes, Megy is here to help me, and she also came from modern life to become herself. We have all we need here, and we enjoy what we do and what we are.

croatia2go: As a returnee to Croatia, someone who left behind your academic life in the US, what do you hear more often is praising or question?
You friends from the US, also Croatian diaspora say? Do they wanna come back as you?

Bruce Yerkovich: Well, people are different. What is an achievement to one, to the other one is not like you said atomic physics 🙂  Mostly, people are curious. But I don’t know someone who will follow my steps, but I expect some people to come back, and still, there are more of them who are coming to retire in Croatia.

I think that I now understand when you said that people, your guest say; that’s the only place where I can find peace, I can rest, sleep and eat adjusted with nature and feel and sense the smell, the vibration here under the Mighty mountain on The Linden tree.
