Matea Jelić wins gold in Taekwondo Grand Prix

Looks like Moscow is Croatia’s lucky charm when it comes to sports. After the unbelievable success of Croatian national football team in Moscow in July, the winning series of Croatian athletes seems to continue and we can’t be happier!
Croatian taekwondo representative Matea Jelić won the Grand Prix in Moscow in the category up to 67kg. First place came after five consecutive victories including the semifinal one with the Korean representative Hyeri Oh, one of the leading athletes in taekwondo in the world while in the finale she won against British representative Lauren Williams. This tournament is very important because it brings the same amount of points as the European Championship.

We will definitely follow Matea on her journey for more solid gold and in meanwhile, we wish her all of the luck!
