Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac is a truly deserved dedication to the unsurpassed scientific mind that many believe invented in the 21st century.
The interpretation and motivational Nikola Tesla Experience Center Karlovac is located at Rakovac 6, right next to Karlovac Gymnasium, where Tesla graduated in 1873. The Center covers almost 800 square meters on three floors.
The construction lasted five years, and a total of 6.5 million euros were invested in the Center and the parking lot as a part of this creative project.
Lighting & Thunder of Ideas
A light spectacle, dance, lightning and thunder, and hundreds of light bulbs lit in the hands of the audience marked the opening of the Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac. The genius scientist even appeared in the window of the school where he graduated 150 years ago and said:
“I don’t regret that others stole my ideas. I regret that they don’t have their own. Enter this Center of mine and find your ideas”.

The influence of the professor
Eight thematic units take you from Tesla’s upbringing in a small town in Lika, through his schooling in Karlovac, where he became interested in electricity thanks to his physics professor Martin Sekulić, to his departure to New York, where he gained world fame with his revolutionary inventions.

STEM OR STEAM?
