Porsche makes investments in Rimac Supercars

As we mentioned before, young Croatian inventor Mate Rimac has managed to get super-positive reactions at the last Geneva Motor Show with his Model C Two.

And good news from the Rimac car-factory can’t seem to stop coming. Recently, one of the most famous luxury automakers, Porsche, has shown a teaser of its new model, an EV Mission E-Sports Car. The company has already shown how serious they are about electric vehicles by teaming up with EV supercar maker Rimac.

So what did Porsche do? They have taken a minority shareholding of 10% in Rimac Automobili which also develops electric car components.

Lutz Meschke, Porsche Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, said he hopes for close collaboration in the form of a development partnership. In other words, this most probably means Rimac will design and make parts for Porsche electric vehicles.

We can just wish luck to Mate Rimac and his company in his further work, but we know that hard work and talent are what made this company an established name in the world of cars.
