The mission of the Croatian Heritage Foundation is to preserve the national and cultural identity, the mother tongue and the customs of Croats living outside the Republic of Croatia. Every year MATIS, the Croatian Heritage Foundation, organizes various seminars and projects for young and adults.
Seminar “THE CREATION OF THEATER” is held during the summer at Školjić near Zadar (the island of Galovac). The seminar is intended for theater enthusiasts and participants of theater amateur groups operating outside Croatia or planning to establish. Participants will also have the opportunity to make new contacts and exchange experiences with theater amateurs from all over the world, with the help of director and dramatist Nina Kleflin. The seminar ends with the performance of a local artist to show the adopted knowledge to the local audience. The content of the program will be enriched with appropriate thematic lectures and by visiting Zadar to see one of the performances that will be shown as part of „Zadar Summer.“ The Croatian Heritage Foundation covers the cost of the seminar, and the participants pay only for the accommodation.
