Zagreb seems to have no lack of extraordinarily original and fun museums to visit during your stay in Zagreb. After the Museum of Broken Relationships and the Museum of Illusions, Zagreb has become richer for one more, a Museum in which we can all relate to the artifacts.

A variety of drunken stories and objects

The idea of this unique Museum was born during an evening out when a group of friends after a Beer Fest met for a drink where they exchanged their impressions and stories about going out and hangover mornings. One story is the reason there is a Hangover Museum today.

One of the friends told how he woke up with a bicycle pedal in his pocket, and the idea arose – what would it be like to gather all the drunken and Hangover stories in one place with items that will give credibility and eventually tell those stories?

This unforgettable place of forgetful events is a project of a group of students conceived as a drunken return home – from the city streets themselves, along the woods to the eventual arrival home where, if you are lucky, wake up in the morning.

The realization of the idea was helped by students who chose the space, lighting, painted the walls, and sent stories. The Museum is designed to suit the interests of today’s youth and the generations to come. They strive to make the Museum one of the best unique experiences in the world by combining education and entertainment through fresh and interactive content. The Museum currently counts about 100 exhibition stories and objects.

 100 exhibition stories and objects

In addition to having a variety of drunken stories and objects from both local and foreign people and visitors, visitors and their companions are encouraged to share their stories every day to grow and create as exciting and fresh content as possible. In addition to stories, visitors can participate in interactive activities within the Museum, such as shooting darts and driving a simulated car with “drunk” glasses, and learning about the impact and consequences of alcohol consumption.
As the first and unique Hangover Museum globally, it was also recognized by foreign media such as CBS News, CNN, and Business Insider.
