VEAL STEAKS FROM LIKA

Learn how to prepare veal steaks especially popular in Lika region! Try this simple recipe and prepare a quick, easy and delicious lunch for your family!

Ingredients:

70 dkg veal loin,15 dkg, breadcrumbs,2 dcl white wine,4 dcl beef soup broth,3 cloves of garlic,2 tablespoons chopped parsley,3 eggs, salt, pepper

Preparation:

Veal steaks salt, pepper, coat into bread crumbs and beat with a wooden bat until bread crumbs are seared into the meat. Roll into egg yolk and breadcrumbs. Fry in sizzling oil. Once fried, lay in a pan, sprinkle with chopped garlic and parsley, add 3 tablespoons frying oil. Pour over white wine and warm beef soup broth. The meat should be covered with liquid. Simmer on low heat for about 50 minutes. Serve with cooked rice, gnocchi and a salad on the side.

Practical tip:

To thicken the sauce, add a tablespoon of breadcrumbs if necessary.
