The works of Croatian and international composers are performed for classical music lovers and those who are about to become one by the synergy of talents of artists who tried and tested on prestigious stages worldwide.

The one in Zagreb is, however, something special. Zagreb Classic open air is loved by many for the same reasons, though from different perspectives: because of the carefully selected program, beautiful ambiance, and that vital chemistry between the music, performers, audience, and city atmosphere.

Heavenly sounds under open skies

Unlike the usual music halls, you wear sports or casual clothes and find your spot at free concerts on the lawn and share the experience of outstanding music in an extraordinary setting, overlooking the starry sky, flowers, and the city lights.

A special evening will be dedicated to the extraordinary oeuvre and jubilees of composer Alfi Kabiljo, who has marked the music scene with his artistic work and timeless musicals and created pieces that delight generations of audiences.

Zagreb Classic open air has been held since 2016. It enjoys the cult status among artists and music lovers, further reinforced by this year’s edition.

The festival is organized by the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Tourist Board and partners. Everything is ready, and Zagreb is eagerly awaiting this pristine music event. Zagreb’s Mayor Tomislav Tomašević expressed his excitement about this occasion:

“I am glad that we will return to the artists the audience they missed for the past two years, given that along with Tomislavac, culture will once again live in many open spaces of our city. (…) Visitors of Zagreb Classic will have the opportunity to enjoy first-class musical treats – performances by leading orchestras, conductors and soloists who will honor us all with beautiful music. “
