On Thursday, the 4thof July marks the beginning of the third Zagreb Crossover Festival, once again bringing amazing musicians to Zagreb, this time from three continents. Zagreb’s park Ribnjaktransforms into a relaxed festival oasis, for all visitors, to enjoy music and summer refreshments! One of the festival’s more important missions is to present and promote musicians who create completely new musical forms by performing and mixing different musical styles.

The festival started with DD Electric Trio, a Croatian virtuoso band with lively jazz performances, continuing at 10 p.m. with Techno Vkings, an eccentric saxophone quartet featuring an infallible jazz drummer ‘covering’ the greatest house hits in an ultimately unpredictable way.

Friday was reserved for Sfumato, a promising band from Zagreb performing instrumental jazz fusion, and the 10 p.m. slot is filled by Dementronomes, an eight-member musical team, winning over more and more fans with each performance!

Saturday night of Crossover opens with Helado Infinito, a Chilean-Argentinian duo founded in March 2016 by Loreta Neira (Chile) and Victor Borgert (Argentina), followed by 8 p.m. performance by Fish in Oil, a Belgrade band which started its career over 25 years ago. Saturday night closes with Brass to house, which draws inspiration from fusion and underground music of the 1990s New York.

On the last day, Sunday the 7thof July, the festival presents Porto Morto, a local band melting radically different music genres and presenting their second album at Crossover. The final event of the third Crossover is a concert by Adam Ben Ezra, the incredible Israeli multi-instrumentalist with millions of views on YouTube, one of the most interesting young multi-instrumental musicians of today.

Every day, the musical program starts at 5 p.m. with the music selection by DJ Robert Mareković on Thursday, DJ Werft on Friday and Saturday and DJ Pill Jackson on Sunday.

Apart from the supreme music, Crossover’s gastro-stalls present a refreshing festival offer of food and drink – from popular cocktails to summer snacks!

2019 Crossover is the first music festival in Croatia which provides the opportunity of paying via Settle mobile app, which ensures safe and fast money transactions, meaning that Crossover visitors can forget all their worries about cash and credit cards and pay for all their food and drinks over their phones!

The festival is organized by Katapult promocija and is supported by the Zagreb Tourist Board.
