Croatia is officially the new millennial destination!


Virtuoso is one of the most important organizations in the world in the field of luxury travel which hosts annual Virtuoso travel week, and this year was not just another year in a row for this event-  it celebrates its 30th birthday!
This year the event had a record attendance, with more than 6,000 participants – representatives of the most influential tourist entities specializing in luxury travels from 100 countries, including Croatia, of course.



Virtuoso recorded a 28 percent increase in demand for Croatia, which was included in its annual survey among the top 10 fastest growing destinations, said the representatives of Croatian Tourist Board on occasion of the launch at “Virtuoso Travel Week” in Las Vegas.

So what is the amazing news?

The popularity and excellent position of Croatia in the US are confirmed by the increase in demand within the Virtuoso network, but also in its annual survey of the top 10 destinations in three categories.
Apart from the category of fastest growing destination, the Top 10 also came as the most popular destination for the millennial travelers and in the category of the most popular international destination.


“The United States is an extremely important market for Croatian tourism, from which we achieve a high double-digit growth rate on a yearly basis. There are prospects for further development, and it is strategically important to strengthen the promotional activities and the position of Croatia in this large market. quality co-operation with large tour operators and associations, such as the Virtuoso network, which has partners and associates in more than 50 countries, “said Croatian Tourist Board Officer Kristjan Staničić.
