Halle Open will be remembered for sure for young Croatian tennis player Borna Ćorić. This is where he defeated no.1 player Roger Federer and achieved the biggest result of his career (yet!). He won Federer with 7:6, 4:6 and 6:2 and although Federer planned to win his 100th title, it seems young Ćorić messed up his plans.
As Borna Ćorić said, “It wasn’t easy, but I really enjoyed the last few days.” This is the young Croat’s second title in his career, and we can feel that this is just a beginning in his bright future in the tennis world. He is now the 21st world tennis player who is also his best career ranking plus he got 500 ATP points.
