From November 30, 2024, to January 7, 2025, the city will sparkle with holiday cheer, offering an unforgettable blend of festive traditions, enchanting decor, and magical experiences that have earned global acclaim, Organized by the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Tourist Board (TZGZ), alongside dedicated partners, this internationally recognized event cements Zagreb as one of Europe’s top winter destinations.

Highlights of Advent in Zagreb 2024

 Opening and Iconic Advent Squares

The celebration begins on November 30 with the lighting of the first Advent candle on Ban Jelačić Square. Wander through Zagreb’s famous festive squares, including:
– King Tomislav Square, home to the city’s favorite ice-skating rink.
– Zrinjevac Park, where twinkling lights, live music, and cozy food stalls create a magical atmosphere.

New This Year: Joyful Christmas Trams

Two Joyful Christmas Trams will glide through the city, immersing riders in a festive wonderland, adding a touch of whimsy. This collaboration with Zagreb Electric Tram promises a unique and charming way to explore the city’s holiday spirit.
