On December 2nd, Zagreb will light the first Advent candle on the city’s main square, and this marks the beginning of the traditional Zagreb Advent, which strives to be more and more beautiful and different every year.

This year, everything moved to the lower town, but to many new locations, attractions, and events.
From December 2nd to January 7th, the city will be adorned with thousands of lights, spreading warmth and romance that only the Advent season can offer. Streets, squares, promenades, passages, and parks will be places to gather with your loved ones, warming your hands with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate.
