Croatia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany!

The ITB Berlin is the world’s largest travel trade fair. It provides a unique opportunity to learn about different countries and regions all over the globe in one place. The fair in Berlin ended yesterday and has summoned all countries that have something to offer in tourism. The tourism industry is continually growing, and travelers from Germany are essential because they travel frequently and spend a lot. The German tourism market is one of the largest in the world, just behind China and the US. According to data from the German Tourist Association last year, the Germans “made” more than 155 million trips (vacations and other private trips) and spent more than 91 billion euros, and their appetites for foreign destinations keep growing! The average German household each year spends on travels more than 2500 euros. This year, numbers are expected to increase. We are not surprised by the fact that everyone wanted to attract Germans on this year ITB Berlin! While the capacities for June, July and August are already full, there should also be a high number of Germans who are planning to visit Croatia when it is less crowdy. Croatia and Germany share inevitable love when we are talking about the tourist sector, which shows that they are the most prominent guests, and we are their sixth favorite country for vacation. “Croatia for the German market was and remains one of the main countries. We hold a certain continuity for years, this year we will again have growth from the German market,” says Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia, Gari Capelli.
