Secrets of the Past: What Lies Hidden in Amadeo Palace?

The Croatian Natural History Museum is housed in the Amadeo Palace, a historic building on Upper Town’s walls. The palace is named after Count Anton Amade de Varkony, founder of Zagreb’s first public theater, which operated in this building from 1797 to 1834. Known as the Amadeo Theater, its rich history makes this place a unique meeting point of culture and science.
