The design of this year’s most popular beach in the city is re-signed by the internationally acclaimed artist Mario Miše, who turned Zagreb’s Zrinjevac Park into an intergalactic beach, thus enabling visitors to experience an unforgettable blend of books and distant galaxies.
“Every year, Sea of Books event is striving to complete many novelties and to offer visitors a quality program. The duration of this year’s event was extended to two weeks to attract more visitors to the world of books and imagination, as well as to provide good entertainment in a perfect summer environment. The goal is to promote reading culture, to encourage people to find pleasure in world novels, and to promote all forms of art. Therefore, during the creation of this year’s program, we have collaborated and included many Croatian artists from the world of film, music, and art”, said creative director Ana Marija Žužul.
