“Warming up” for advent Zagreb 2023.

With a concert in Oktogon, the Zagreb soloists announce this year’s Advent Zagreb, whose official opening is scheduled for Saturday, December 2. With the sounds of Vivaldi, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and well-known international Christmas carols, we are preparing for Saturday, when the first Advent candle will be lit on Ban Jelačić Square at 4:30 p.m.

The festive ice show “My Zagreb, I love you so much/Moj Zagreb tak imam te rad” will open the Ice Park on King Tomislav Square at 6:30 p.m. with the lighting of the lights in the entire park and finally around 19.45. followed by the lighting of the lights on Zrinjevac and a musical program.

The great Christmas tree of the famous digital artist Alexey Severin // Inverse will share the magic of Zagreb’s Advent around 10 Croatian cities with the help of the Equinox XR application.

You can find the  Christmas tree in Zagreb in front of the Croatian State Archives, and in Dubrovnik, Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Rovinj, Split, Šibenik, Varaždin, Vukovar and Zadar on their main streets and squares. The Equinox XR app is free and needs to be downloaded from the Google and Apple stores.
