Cavtat is again in the race for the best destination in Europe.
The European Best Destination portal is holding a competition for the best European destination, and Cavtat was among the 20 selected destinations!
In 2019, Cavtat finished in the TOP 10 destinations among the intense competition. The competition is no weaker this year either – the list of the best includes the Canary Islands, Cappadocia, Capri, Florence, Braga, and Vienna, Paris, and Rome.

How to vote?
Just click on the page vote.ebdest.in and choose Cavtat from the offered destinations and enter your name and e-mail address. No additional registration is required. The competition lasts for three weeks, from January 20th to February 10th, and everyone can vote for Cavtat, a place where living is a pleasure!
Among the best and safest
In addition to being on the list of destinations that should definitely be visited for the second time, in 2020 and 2021, Cavtat was on the list of the safest destinations chosen by the European Best Destination portal.
“Being among the 20 best and among the safest destinations is already a significant success. That’s the reason that will surely place Cavtat on the travel map of many tourists who will come to visit as soon as possible. We are pleased to be on this list of the best destinations and representatives of Croatia.”- said Frano Herendija, director of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Konavle.
The award for the best destination in Europe has been held since 2009. It is organized by the European Best Destinations (EBD), a European organization based in Brussels, created to promote culture and tourism in Europe and in cooperation with tourism offices and EDEN. European and world level promotes a greater understanding of the richness, diversity, and quality of European destinations.
