So they did it again! Congrats!
The Telly Awards is a prestigious American festival where ’Croatia Your Next Filming Destination’, film won the gold medal in two categories; Travel/Tourism and Videography / Cinematography. BALDUČI FILM also won the silver medal for its film RIJEKA, I MISS YOU in the category Travel/Tourism. The films were written by Spomenka Saraga, who is also the producer of the movies, directed by Herve Tirmarche and cameraman and editor Jalil Armi.
The film RIJEKA I MISS YOU was shot for the Tourist Board of the City of Rijeka, and Croatian actors also took part in the film: Alen Liverić, Natalija Đorđević, Jana Škrgulja, Edi Ćelić, photographer Iva Znaor, and girl Lara Zgrablić. In addition to the actors, there are other members of the team: Bobby Grubić, Robert Kalčić, and Pavle Kaplanec. This year, Telly awards presented the best products made by advertising agencies, televisions, filmmakers, producers, and publishers among the total of 13000 applied.

At the prestigious Golden City Gate awards in Berlin, in the ‘Regional International’ category at the 20th festival of tourism films, ’Croatia Your Next Filming Destination’, a promotional film attracting the film industry to film in Croatia has won a silver medal.
The film was a collaboration between the Croatian Tourist Board and the production house Balduči film.
“Every award makes me happy, especially when it is going on continuously, which is a recognition of the profession that we are doing a quality job. First of all, I thank my team, who did another great job, namely film director Herve Tirmarche, cinematographer and editor Jalil Armijo, cinematographer Bobby Grubic, and assistant cinematographers Niksa Vierda and Nikola Klacinski. In 30 days, we have traveled all over Croatia to create a new modern film that can present Croatia to the world with the beauty of its many film locations,” said Balduči film Director Spomenka Saraga.
Kristjan Stanicic, Director of the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ), congratulating the entire team involved in the making of the film, said; “ I believe this video will make an additional contribution in our efforts to bring the most important productions from the world of film to Croatia and thus continue to actively promote our country as a desirable film destination.”
Rijeka Tourist Board and Balduči film took second place in the category “City International” for the promotional film Rijeka – I miss you and Valamar Collection Marea Suites 5 * in the category “Hotel INT “.
The Golden City Gate Festival awards films in 18 different categories, with the international jury selecting the best from numerous entries worldwide.
“The awards were not presented to us due to the specifics of the COVID-19 situation but will be delivered by mail. The films are in competition at several more festivals, and expecting results, we hope for some more awards,” Spomenka Saraga cheerfully concluded.
