Pelješac is the second-largest Croatian peninsula with a length of 65 kilometers, is located in southern Dalmatia.

The location and pleasant Mediterranean climate greatly influenced the development of viticulture and olive growing on the peninsula. Cultivation and nurturing of vines is a hundred-year-old tradition of Pelješac winegrowers.

LONG SANDY BEACH IN PRAPRATNO BAY

Just three kilometers west of Ston and a little less than an hour’s drive from Dubrovnik, there is Prapratno Bay. One of the most beautiful coves in this part of Pelješac with a long sandy beach in an area overgrown with pine forest. Almost nowhere is the sea so clean and warm! The summer mistral wind’s waves from the Mljet channel make this magical bay genuinely unique.

Not too crowded, Prapratno Beach is an ideal place to escape from the crowds and relax with the whole family. Near this beautiful sandy beach, there is a campsite that is a favorite choice among many travelers, and in case you are looking for refreshment, right above the bay, you will find a small charming bar offering food and cold drinks everyone loves when spending a whole day at the beach.

The most beautiful beaches of the Pelješac peninsula are certainly the beaches in Žuljana. Vučine Bay is ideal for all lovers of untouched nature and unforgettable sunsets. It has been declared a nature reserve and has a reputation as one of Croatia’s best and most beautiful beaches.

The bay is surrounded by dense pine forest, and the sea showcases a beautiful blue-green color, creating a mesmerizing and relaxing view. Underwater caves in the bay attract diving enthusiasts, and the crystal clear turquoise sea makes this beach on Pelješac an excellent place for a day at the beach you have been dreaming of!
