Ivana’s House of Fairy Tales is a multimedia and interactive center for visitors who celebrate fairy tales and fairy-tale creativity. It is also one of the most visited cultural and tourist attractions in Croatia. It is located in Ogulin and in a creative way, using new technologies presents the fairy tales of the most important Croatian fairy tale writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, celebrating her birthplace and also the fairy tales of numerous Croatian and worldwide famous fairy tales writers.
It consists of a multimedia permanent exhibition, a library, a multifunctional space for workshops, and a souvenir shop. Throughout the year, many educational programs are being held here. This interesting story creates a greater desire to create, and it will make your love of reading even bigger.
Through the exhibition, you will be better acquainted with the fairy tales of a famous Croatian writer, have an opportunity to learn what a fairy tale is and how it is written. You can listen to interesting fairy tales from different European countries. Particularly interesting is the “Fairy Tale Library” where numerous first issues of fairy tales are available.
