An intimate wine estate
Founded twenty years ago by Lee R. Anderson, Korta Katarina was born from the desire to reveal the exceptional wine potential of the Pelješac peninsula. Driven by a pursuit of excellence, he transformed a former holiday complex into an elegant luxury villa, now awarded a Michelin Key, before adding a state-of-the-art winery designed to create exceptional wines while remaining true to the character of the terroir.
The wine adventure began in 2005 with the first plantings of Plavac Mali on the prestigious vineyards of Postup and Dingač. Since the first harvest in 2006, the estate has continued to grow. Today, it spans more than ten hectares of vineyards and has established itself as one of the leading names in Croatian wine, thanks to an approach that combines respect for the terroir, innovation and a constant pursuit of excellence.
